About the Soup for Syria Project

The Syrian conflict—now in its 5th year—is the worst humanitarian crisis of our time. In an effort to make a difference, Interlink Publishing, a Massachusetts-based independent publishing house, has collaborated with bestselling cookbook author, photographer, and food writer Barbara Abdeni Massaad (Man'oushe: Inside the Lebanese Street Corner Bakery)--together with nearly 80 acclaimed chefs—on a humanitarian cookbook project whose profits will be donated to the UN Refugee Agency UNHCR to provide urgently needed food relief for Syrian refugees.

How does Rocktown Rallies fit in?

Rocktown Rallies held a Soup for Syria Supper on Saturday, January 21st at Horizons at Valley Pike at 5:30pm.

A variety of soups were dished up, and forms were available for guests to order their own copies of the Soup for Syria cookbook. Guests could also choose to donate directly to the UN Refugee Agency UNHCR.
NOW.... We need for you to host your own Soup for Syria Supper in your home, church, or business during the month of February. Make soup to share, invite your friends, and encourage everyone to support UNHCR with direct donations or by purchasing the Soup for Syria cookbook.
